About Me

Hello and welcome! My name is Jordan (pronouns: she/her) and I'm a fourth-year PhD Candidate in Health Psychology at the University of California, Los Angeles. Supported by the Ford Foundation Pre-Doctoral Fellowship and the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship,  my program of research seeks to apply an intersectionality framework to the psychological study of body image, eating behaviors, and longitudinal health outcomes in Black women. I am passionate about mentorship, biopsychosocial science, statistical modeling, and inclusive, theory-driven research.
